After more than a yr of struggle, I got this done. But not without having to press some top level buttons. They could hv handled the issue lots easier. But they chose the rough road ..

that conflict could be because we need to change the IP setting manually at times. u can check online forum for more info!

thanks for the catch ankutulsyan.. wat u had mentioned is some addintional info i missed out. i had compared with iphone because most of the itouch users intend that we could hv bought iphone for some bucks extra! thats all.. thanks again,

i dint mention the price as i brought this in usa! its 299 $ somewhere around 12 K in india i believe it would be around 14k for 8gb and 18 k for 16 gb! One more thing.. price keeps changing in india. and Iphone is not officially avilable in india too..
