Experience of Booking of Etios Based on media report on Toyota Etios “Booking start on 1st December’10 and delivery start on 1st January” but in reality it is not true. I had booked a Totoya Etios car on very first day of official booking of the car i.e 1st of December 2010. But to my utter surpris...e I received a letter on 24th January’11 from my dealer mentioning tentative delivery period of the car is March/April. Which reflects that their commercial production yet to start, still Toyota is making 18000 indians fool who has booked the car. Just one can imagine if you booked the car on the very first day and you are waiting for five long months, what will happen to the fate of others fellow who has booked later. By creating a media hype Toyota is planning catch hold of customers who has booked the car. This marketing strategy definitely does not work for a common men car. There is no transparent policy from Toyota side regarding delivery of the car. You simply cannot track your booking, (Which you can able to do and appreciate if you applied for a passport in government office).
