Nissan micra (not even a hatchback), scorpio (suv) and then SX4 (sedan), what kind of wierd comparision is this while deciding to buy a car, suv, hatchback. Friend are you sure you even drove a car before, you look like a confused teenager. In germany and many europeans, they have mercedes,... bmw, audi and other highend cars as taxis. So do you think these highend cars are below standards for india. As per indian standards, you will find many SX4 as taxis, but yet to see honda city as taxi. I not a fan of either maruti or honda, but honestly there is no comparision between sx4 and city. SX4 is no where near to city standards and should have been priced much lower then the current price. Maruti is cheating by pricing sx4 so high and giving sub-standard interiors and overall built. Read More

Its not only optra, the problem is with all the diesel car of all brands. A diesel car has to used daily for minimun of 50 km per day, otherwise the engine will always keep on getting stalled. Diesel engines are basiclly designed for long and daily drive. If your commute is not more then 50km p...er day then you should buy a petrol car. A petrol car is usually trouble free and will start instantly even if not used fror few months. I agree to your point that service is of GM in india is pathetic, even if they are providing free service for 3 years. Even in city like mumbai its really bad. Read More

Hi munsingh, Nothing is obvious everything is fact so no need to pity, iam native of karnataka and know more about of bangalore then anybody else. Iam sorry if i had dissappointed you about bangalore, iam not here to hurt somebodys feeling so i have deleted some of my bangalore’s review. Well it was... my point of view of bangalore in comparison to mumbai for mumbai investors, if someone likes it or not is not my concern, after all everybody has freedom to express their point of view. For eg: people living in mumbai find mumbai very beautiful, but the world sees mumbai as Slumbai, which is infact true considering that 50% land in mumbai is under slums. But the people of mumbai and the goverment instead of getting dissappointed took the worlds point of view in positive way and slums are now slowly dissappearing and i guess in next decade mumbai will be slum free. They are many ways of looking at somebodys point of view, one just needs to change his point of view to understand others. Gosh! thats a lot of point of view. Bye Read More

I totally agree with the indianess part, if we don't buy and respect our country made vehicles than who else in the world will do. Regarding toyotas i don't want to comment because i think till date they are one of the best car/suv manufacturer in the world and they have acheived this only becaus...e of their superior product and quality. Tata is doing a good for modest income indian people who dream of owning a good suv in india. Even somebody with 1 lac income per month can’t dream of owning a international brand suv in india. For eg: the cheapest toyotas suv fortuner is priced @ 22 lac on road. I like such suvs but cannot afford s...uch high price, so indian suvs like tata/scorpio are blessings for me. Secondly I would proud myself in owning a complete india made vehicle then a foreign brand. With developing india, even the the indian car makers are improving with time and providing better quality and technlogy. If we don’t appreciate our country made products and run afer foreign brands, then who else will. Read More
