hi, your news is true that it causes cancer, most people do not know. Basically it contains paraffin wax , yes the same wax u use for your candles, this coats your intestines for a 4 days after you eat preventing your intestines from absorbing vitamins and mineral from other food. It takes abt 4 day...s for the paraffin to wash out. They use this as after the noodles are steamed it is dipped into a wax bath so that no insects come in the packet, the insects dont come to know that there is noodles inside only becos the noodles are coated with that waxy substance you find when you open it. i think our local noodles which we consider inferior is far better. as it gets spoiled after some time, take care byeRead More

Actually i have travelled a lot , presently my mileage standa t 30k kms. However u dont get pain for any long rides as the posture of p 200 is your hands supports your shoulders, you never get any pain, but your bumms really get it in the long rides , but its ok for 8 hrs ride, the back seat guy , h...is bums has to be in warm water for a day after 8 hrs ride in p 200, the driver will enjoy as the seat is a bit wide ,however my brother has p 180 the older version, here the posture is such that the hands do not support the shoulders and your back is always in tension to support your upper body , the pain in the back is evident after some time, however the new p 180 is ok as it follows the same route, hey anyway the p 200 is history anywayRead More

Hi Sudeep, I have completed 22k kms as on date, iam changing the oil decently every 1.5k with good quality castrol, i do matter of fact for every bike i had bullet, max 100 and suzuki heat, it keeps the engine healthy and avoids costly repairs, i drive soberly and do not do fast accelaration, iam ge...ttng a steady 50 kms to a litre, the other day i had filled 12 litres of fuel, my mileage is 580, it has come to reserve now, but i know back of my mind that take it a few times to 100+ and ther egoes the mileage but oin this run itself i have touched now and then 90 to 100 so i got less maybe, further bikes this which has given me so much i dont mind investing a little more on maintenace. According to me the 180 (new one is great as he is giving the 37mm forks) but i personally feel that since the body and swingarm is now the same as 200 with tubeless (size same), 180 is alright. But there is an additional feature in the 200 and 220 which hasnt been given in the 180 the oil cooler so if you are going outstation with a pillion and lot of heat on the road, then maybe maybe the oil cooler will help in cooling the oil cos i hae gone non stop riding for 8 hrs almost without any engine seizure though at average speed of 60- 70 , so it your choiceRead More

20,000kms. Completed as on date a year +2mths. Great performance. i must say. Took it on several rides to kolar and one to hogenaikal, it was simply superb performance, however remember to check the viscosity of the oil and change it often if u do 80 all day in the hot summer. Mileage remains the sa...me. i have taken the service challan from bajaj for rs.100 which gives me a discount of 20% on allspares and some concession in the service cost.. One clutch cable cut so i bought two for Rs.100 each. Kept one as spare for my tours. No probs in the electricals. I have added one light for 55 w connected directly to the battery. Happry riding guys. Cant ride any lesser bike now in my life after thisRead More

I own a 200 myself and driving it for 10 k kms t date. I feel that personally it is a good bike despite the slightly bigger turning radius. The braking is fantastic and you are very very safe in the bike, i have gone to coorg , mysore tumkur and kolar on several occassions. I am very very happy with... tubeless tyres as i can repair puncutres myuself, i carry a tubeles repair kit duering my trips along with a handy footpump . once i had a nail embedded and have driven for weeks then i repaired it within 5 mins. I feel that the larger radius is more safeer as you wont getr into the small gaps inside lorriess etc. waiting for your inputRead More

8000 kms - THe bike is incredible becos of a smooth and slow running in iam getting a steady 46 -47, never once the bike has given below 43. Hall mark of these 3k kms is i took the bike to mysore and back, a trip of total of 340 kms, i rode thebike always at an effortless 69kms /her where the engi...ne didnt show any strain . at times exceeding 80- 90 kms hr. Even in this summer heat i felt becos of the radiator the engine oil didnt get heated up beyond a point inspite of a running of 7 o clock in the morning upto 5 o clock in the evening with 4 breaks of 15 mins each. Almost the whole day in the heat but before the trip i had changed the oil to 20/50 before the trip and as the bike neared 1.5k kms , sprayed the chain with 90grade oil and then grased the chain , then took off. It was a wonderful trip and my respect for the pulsar 200 has increased. It does nt shake even a bit if the lorry moves fast beside me, it is very stable and inspires confidture , i carry a foot pump with me during my trips , in case of a puncture i plug the punctureand then pump up my tyre. Actually the tubeless tyre has solved all my headaches of getting straneded on the highway after a puncture. Will be giving to khivraj for claning, asked him if i need to change the brake oil, though i was ready to change the executive had insisted last time that it will be done only at 10 k . so lon guys happy riding, be safe and dont dive fastRead More

Thank you for telling me about this car. I cant imagine how a car engine can fail at 40k kms . I was about to buy this car , but thanks to your bad experiences and to mouthshut for advertising all the wrong doings of this company i have decided not to buy this car. Thanks to this medium car companie...s cannot cover up their mistakes and bad engineeringRead More

I also see that you are very concerned about engine noise, if you compare the 180 noise it will bring a whole house down , however the noise is down in the 200 by almost 70% compared to the 180. I dont want to compare the apache or the honda unicorn as they are a lot less noisier. But by the time t...here is a slight noise in the 200 , you are at 80+ . But the noise is evident in the 180 at 40+ itself as it groans to pick up to 80. upto 60 kms acceleration you can hardly hear any noiseRead More

hi malhansachit, The mileage is steady at 45-47 kms//lit. The bike is great and iam happy with the performance. Regarding the noise, actually i was 90% for 180 but hearing it grunt and groan , as compared to the smooth operation of the 200 i went for it even though i had to shell out 10k more , the... other point was the gearbox, 180 gear box was horrible after i have graduated from the suzuki gearbox, i wud say that the 200 gearbox is as good as the suzuki gearbox, i havent had any false neutrals so far, further regarding the mileage, i dont rev hard only a slight twist of the accelerator as i purchased it mainly for its roadgrip and since i will be using the mid range speed of 50-60 it is very comfy at those speeds, also getting me the above mileage. But sometimes at signals ot at cross roads i have unleashed its power and i know that within secs iam at 80 though it is very personal feeling at 80 + it is very risky and one cud lose control easily with such a heavy bike but very comfortable at speeds of 50-60. Good choice , dont see the price go for it. Atleast i havent regreted itRead More

Just shut up arvin. He has narrated his experience of the service of a product. I would also fume if my car was taken unauthorisedly. The author is quite correct. What if the car had met with an accident when the mechanic had taken out unauthorisedly.

Hi Dr.Murugan, Thanks for your review. i was planning on a hyundai santro. After reading your review i understood what crappy engineering hyundai is supplying to india. I have completely discarded santro from my list. Even the worst engine shud give 1.5 lakh kms . I sympathise with you , i also un...derstood that the cost of spares are very expensive. Thank you mouthshut and to you allRead More

I have driven 1000 kms with this bike. let me tell you there is not a single problem with this bike. The engine is excellent, improved from the p180, by the time there is some sound the bike is in 80s. The bike gives a good mileage of 45-48 kms /hr. Further to that the braking is excellent. I think ...that all this hype is created just to malign bajaj. Let me ask is there any other manufacturer who gives the same beefy swing arm as a p200, tube less tyres as this , with the same broader tyre. I think you guys can go pay more to zma as there is no tubeless , no digi gadgets, and just keep saying zma has a smooth rideRead More

Regrding the inclined posture, initially i had some discomfort but never got a backache, maybe due to the better nitrox shocks, the posture inclined is more inspiring and you get a great feeling in that posture, Actually recently i went on a long tour of about 6 hrs non-stop, i didnt feel that bad, ...maybe my back was getting used to it. Mileage is around 46, but the front disk pads are still touching the wheel and i got it corrected last week, maybe now the mileage must have improved. Will keep the posting updatedRead More

I had a suzuki heat earlier and after a year with instability and poor performane, I compared all the four mftrers Honda, CBZ, TVS and the pulsar.
