Its 6 years now driving this bike and my opinion goes like this. Its just a commuter bike and not suitable for any kind of long drives. its so light and its going to be very shaky on highway. Finished 3 successful years with the bike. Built quality is excellent, no rattles at all. Gives good mileage around 60 in city. The rear tyre of mrf is useless, skids a lot ..need to change it. Finished riding 2 years with zero complaints. Bike is just as good when it was bought, so it is value for money and gives 60+kmpl in city. I found only one issue as the bike is light weight and it is little difficult to drive on a highway when winds are too strong.
One issue I found in my DY which is like lack of fuel when I drive slow and want to accelerate it takes a second to get into action as like we used to have a problem of carburetor in olden bajaj chetak. If it has to be between DY and Star sport, just no doubt you can go for DY. Breaking is really good and it does not skid at all
In city you can get this mileage but you need to drive it between 40 to 50kmph and not every time if you are in bumper to bumper traffic. less use of brake and clutch also contributes for good mileage
Jacob How I will know what your dreams !! and it is Honda company's advertisement about dreams and I am not responsible for them. But this bike easily serve my purpose of commuting without any issues and easy to drive and good mileage of 65+. So it is upto you now to think on that and go ahead
