Thanks for your advise trajani. I mailed the CEO of Yatra.com and he replied me back the next day. He also got the issue resolved within two days. They took around 10 days to refund me the money.

Update as of today. I again called the customer care. This time again they said that we have refunded the money on 22 July (oops, last time they said that they have already refunded on 18 July) . Moreover, listen to this they have deducated Rs 6000.00 for no reason from my ticket. I am defin...itely filing a complaint for this company in consumer court. Rather then paying me extra for the harassment they are deducting Rs 6000.00 ??? I dont understand why, when I asked why are you deducating these six thousand, their representative said you will get that in few days. What does that mean?Read More

Whoever is the writer of this review should get his facts right. 1 good review out of 20 bad reviews, proves only one point. The site is bad. Customer service is horrible and they have no idea what is called customer service. This service is not for a very long time in business. This is an internet ...start up company. Please get your facts right, merely putting up a website does not make the company good. Its your response towards the customer's which makes it good or bad. One off cases may have been trouble free, but the true test of a company is only found when something goes wrong.Read More

This website is totally unreliable. Use this website at your own risk. I am not sure, if the person who has written this review has even once canceled or bought any tickets from Yarta. Read other horror stories before thinking twice to book or cancel through Yatra.

The issue finally got resolved, CEO of Yatra.com was very friendly and resolved the issue very fast himself. I am also in the same boat.%0a%0aI bought 2 tickets for my parents from DEL to SFO. When I called the company to confirm my tickets they said they had some problem with the website and the tickets are not booked.%0aThey said that we are refunding the money back to the customers. They deducted almost... R 80,000.00 from my account for the tickets. What kind of site is this, which boasts of being number one and cant even calculate the tax on the ticket properly.%0aFinally I decided to get a refund, I also talked to the same Ritia Thakur you have been referring throughout your posts. She told me that you will get the money refunded within two days. Although she told me this, I was not very convinced because she did not sound very confident of that. I asked her to give me some alternate routes, she sent me some alternate routes but they were way more expensive then the ticket cost which I paid. Finally I decided to cancel the ticket.%0aI mailed Yatra.com customer care and Ritika Thaur, and more 2-3 people around 3 times but no body replied to my mail. At last, I called their customer care and told them that I want to get my money back. He said, please send a mail and your money will be refunded within 2 days. After 2 days, I called them again, my money was not refunded (as I guessed). The customer care executive said that we have dispatched the money, and you will get it by Monday (July 21st surely) and in the worst case by Tuesday (July 22nd). I am still waiting for the money its wed today. %0aI now cant buy tickets from anywhere and I am losing all deals from any other travel agent and airlines.
