I own tvs flame (Disc Brake) and it is a nice bike to have for commuting in cities. It is giving me a mileage of 65 km/l Good pickup.Stylish Indicators, Space on the petrol tank is useful. Cold Start is a problem with this vehicle.

i got the disc brake version on 14-May-08.Cool bike.
Looks nice and even it is overpriced you can go for this bike Trith
XCD 125 is a good one but it hicupps,if the combined weight of persons is more than 130kg
Gladiator also nice one but think about the spares and service and it's successf...ul story
in indian market
as per me,TVS Flame is best,you can rely on TVS.

the same is told to me by the agency people here in bangalore.
so i went with that.
even today i called them and they said the same again.
the reason i said 'Bookings are currently open', because i had booked.

In bangalore,regarding the flame i checked more than 3 Agencies.
Importantly the agency i booked was Main Authorized dealer for TVS Vehicles.
I Called up the Chennai Administrative Office and get to know about the disc brake version release.
Moreover,the peoples from all agencies contacted ...me for the disc brake version when it is available for booking.
so concluding,not all dealers will be fitting disc brakes just for the purpose to sell their drum brake versions.

The price of the disc brake version is 54,500
(without any accessories) and i booked the silver black colour
saree guard and side view mirrors come with the model (default).
I booked the bike in Bharath Automobiles Agency,Jayanagar
