Long battle with Bajaj but with no additional gain. The recent introduction in 125cc segment from TVS is a bike with few exciting features but high in price & low in comfort of driving. The biggest flaw is its drum brakes. Disc brakes are not available as on date in the market (as per Loyal TVS - Mumbai ).
The drum brakes are slow to respond & accident prone. Though shown in all the ads of TVS Flame, the disc brakes are not available at present & are must for this bike. The additional features are embedded trafficators (similar to one in HERO-HONDA Karizma), Digital console (similar to Pulsar in Bajaj), Delta edge ( similar to Gladiator). Performance in heavy traffic condition not very good due to its jerks on pick up. Good to drive on High ways. Mileage good in continuous running on high way ( about 65 to 68). In short its a highly over rated bike at a high price.
