@saywhat911 - Do you mean to say I copy paste the name appearing on the profile in FB or other social n/w sites? I have done this, but the problem is, even some genuine profiles don't have their name listed - it sometimes appears as 'Later', but it would still be a genuine person because I have gott...en in touch with a couple of them that had their name showing up as 'Later'. I dont know what it is but seems like people are too skeptical to provide even their name or photo on the Matrimonial sites fearing those scammers that could cause trouble. That makes the job difficult for genuine 'lookers'.Read More

Yes, there are quite a lot of good profiles available. I would say most of them are genuine profiles and I never had a problem with the profiles, per say, it was to do more with the Matrimony team. I get alerts of profiles that match me and most of them I find are a good match. The problem happens o...nly when I try to get in touch with them, I am not sure if the message ever got delivered to the respective person and whether the person had viewed it and sent back the reply. If you are from South India, then I think BharatMatrimony is a good place to search (its better to register with Bharat instead of the more specific ones, like TamilMatrimony, because then your profile will be available on all of the relevant sub-matrimonial sites, if I may call them. But some think of this as a problem as they do not want their profile to be highlighted in too many different sites. You take the call). Shaadi.com has more of North Indian profiles I guess, and very limited South Indians register there. Pretty much everything stated here in the review above is true. I have my review as well about BharatMatrimony and it isnt a good experience considering the fact that these sites are supposed to provide us with services that would change our life. Instead, all that is changing is that these guys are... getting richer! We may have to somehow get our voices heard, its people's hard earned money and future that these bunch of cheaters are playing with.Read More
