I am using HONDA CIVIC (1.8 EMT) since last 6 months. I am very happy with the car. I have used it mainly in Delhi where roads are relatively better than rest of India. Yes, the car is sporty & hence low. But the comfort of the car compensates this aspect. I have also driven this car to Chandiga...rh, Hills in Himachal & Jaipur. Overall it is a fantastic experience. The lowground clearance is bit overhyped. In the last 6 months my card would have bumped just 2 times. Actually if you hit a bad road with a speed the structural parts of the car hits the road (due to good responsive suspension the car has!) & the damage is very superficial, nothing to worry.Read More

I thought the review was about Honda Civic, but was disappointed to see the general comments about Indian Car market!

Hi, I think Amrita - you have become like a Crow, you can see anything rotten very fast. I think criticism is essential for everyone to improve. But you should have a balance in life. You should also see what is wrotten right next to you. The City where you live - Delhi I feel is much worse overall ...if you compare the quality of life. I am just trying to add this balance to your review. I am from Pune, have visited Mumabi almost once a week for 5 years. I was visiting Delhi onec a quarter for at least 6 years all due to my job. I have stayed in Chennai for 8 months! Recently (since last 8 months) I have shifted to Bangalore with family. And my over all verdict is 'I dont regret my decision' every city has some weknesses & Bangalore certainly has some. but overall the strengths are more than the weknesses & I certainly feel that Bangalore scores higher in many respect over other cities. 1. Climate - I give 100 marks to this city. I report to our CEO who is from Parris (a French guy - normally French are known for the complaining attitude) & I have also our President who is from Boston, both are staying here in Bangalore since last 8 months. All of us agree that Bangalore has the better climate as compared to City of our origin. The temperature is just perfect - it never rains in the morning (perfect for office going people) , it rains regularly in the evening or night (how convenient) I have no words to express my happiness over this aspect. 2. Local People : they are very soft & are ready to help, ready to speak Hindi / English. Just go to Chennai or Tamilnadu & you will realise what I mean. 3. Safety - Overall it is safer place than many places in North, I am well aware that in Delhi you will rarely find Females going out alone or in a group of 2 /3 after sunset. I have also read about working women having to carry guns etc. In Bangalore you will find that women are freely roming around. 3. Food - is Good & not costly 4. Read More
