Good one dear...and really seems to be straight out from the heart. Most starwiters dont write product reviews but beat around the bush and try to generate hoardes of useless comments. I would only say - aadmi jo kehta hai, aadmi jo sunta hai, zindagi bhar woh sazayen peechha karti hain. Chand_...tare: Sourrays side of the story cannot be true because he has claimed that Johnny Vaughan / Stella / Paul etc. are his pseudonyms. Unfortunately (for sourray) bbc.co.uk and sun online have pictures of Johnny, Stella or Paul and they are reputed reviewers themselves. We live in India but someone cannot just fool us like that. Thanks for the comments. Suketu: Thanks a ton for the moral support. Anuj: Why I am unfortunate? Because a very senior reviewer (who has also posted a movie review today) came out openly in defence of sourray and vilified me indirectly for witch hunting. His view was that I am doing this because I have no work at office and have plenty of idle time to kill. The issue of plagiarism took a backseat. Thats why I am unfortunate. As I said there are more examples but I do not want to enter mud slinging match. We also dont have plenty of time to waste on this issue. This guy has been around for quite sometime. He has written 98 reviws and is trusted by many reviewers. But if he is not courageous he should now exit from MS. I...f he decides to stay on here, he should come clean and own up for his mistakes. I want to continue the debate on plagiarism. you have very strong thoughts. My purpose is to lay the facts before you. Then you decide regarding the truth what I am saying. You have strongly defended sourray. I don’t know if in your subconscious mind you are defending plagiarism itself and trying ...to make it look very insignificant. You have accused reviewers like me and mark2gp of witch hunting. If you were to judge you would have given Kavya Vishwanathan a clean chit. What would this ensure? New MS members like me would get encouragement for lifting articles from other sites and publishing them under my name. Moreover, you have insulted all reviewers of mouthshut by saying that only those who visit mouthshut are people who have no work at office. And above all you have remarked that mouthshut is a useless website. Very well. Let people decide. Sourray has replied in the comment of Deja vu review that he has written reviews in London tabloids and all reviews are technically his own. This is not fully true. He lives in London and maybe writes for papers. But he does not hesitate to copy articles according to his convenience. He is a respected member. He should own up his mistake gracefully. If he does not accept his faults, many more reviewers like me will dig up dirty facts. Check out Sourray's review on Poseidon - The Movie Sunk with the Ship posted on June 6 2006. Then check out the review on Poseidon posted at bbc.co.uk (google search with BBC - movies - review - Poseidon) by their reviewer Paul Arendt on June 1 2006. The reviews are so strikingly similar. Read both and decide for yourself guyz regarding who is original. The same thing happens with his review of Lady in the water. Some sections seem to be taken from Stella Papamichael's review on the same topic posted on August 9 2006 at bbc.co.uk. Do you still want to say that Paul Arendt and Stella both are pseudonyms of sourray. There are more examples but I do not want to enter mud slinging match.Read More
