Dear Hemant, Please go through my review on bike, which i am using past almost 5yrs. I have mentioned all problems & issues faced by me. Engine trouble was serious in my case. I use to be engine designer (9yrs) by profession with Mahindra Tractors. I have also faced similar issue about col...d starting. Let me share my exp & action taken. responses from Honda dealer & company were similar. Best thing that works is, 1) while kick starting (even with button start) do not twist (touch) accelerator. Kick should be fully applied, half kick may not work. For button start hold switch not more than 5sec in single go. 2) let engine gain some uniform speed, if required put chock on. Putting chock on may not always required. 3) As soon as it starts running on const speed, give little accelerator & put chock off. repeat this if required. Hope it works for you also. My suggestion is that, do not hurry up in racing. reduce low ideal speed from 1800 which is too high to 1000-1200rpm. In cold conditions it can damage engine, increases smoke in long run. At signals or waiting consumes lot of Petrol. mail Me if required.Read More

Dear K Ambarish, Cost I don't have experience hence can not comment, my personal openion it is good price. But assume below technical points checked. 1) Have ride 1st & check engine sound. after 5 min riding (engine becomes hot), put it in neutral & reace to engine speed of 6000 for few seconds(n...ot more than 5sec). if no visible smoke then engine is good shape. 2) Check for clutch, while gear shifting should not have sound of currrrr & no jurking. with my bike condition of clutch is still good. 3) check Breaks, even in new bike, breaks gives instant breaking only if applied together. on my bike, I get same performance. Keep it benchmark. 4) Check service history by going through Honda service boook available with bike. It is best if servicing has got done at hond service center. check insurance history for any accedents & claims if any. 5) Check battery condition, Remember after 3 years, it is due to replacement. I have changed it in 3rd year. for button start bikes, you will come to know immidetly if it doesn't work. for kick start, check without starting bike if you can put it on. 6) Check for scratches on body & fading of color. I got lot of then on tank but no fading of color. 7) Check front absorber, seal should not have heavy leakage of oil. if it is heavy find accumulated dust on shining shaft/ wipe finger on ground shaft after test ride if considerable oil then it needs servicing or replacement. on my bike it is good, very minute leak (no dust accumulation) which is healthy for better seal life. 8) Check Rearshock absorber, put it on Rigid/ max setting, take co passenger (total weight around 150Kg) with you for test drive. on bumps / pits chasis should not touch each other. on my bike i am having this problem, check above my detail exp. 9) Check front & rear tyres for rubber wear, after more than 30000 kms, my bike tyre (company fitted) wear is very minor. 10) Check Front & rear wheels, Rotate wheeels by hand one by one.Note its outness or needs sevinRead More

Dear Bharat, I am in line with your experience. Since you are driving bike at speed more than normal, oil consumption goes up, hence it is likely that oil may drained up before service perid . Check oil level once in week to get feel of it. ensure bike is parked on center stand for one hr at leas...t before oil check. Best way is check it in morning before start driving. Check my review why i am saying that. DeokarptRead More
