I am sick of the company called Hutch; my woes can be read from my letter which I recently sent to Hutch customer care (now Vodafone).....please read on..... Dear Sir, I have been using my Hutch connection (now Vodaphone) for quite some time. My Plan is Double Value 300 Plan, and has been act...Read more

Well, today I saw an offer in the Times of India shopping for Sony Ericsson T610 for only Rs.3990 plus delivery charges Rs150. So we've come a longway. Don't you feel cheated at Rs.7500? The phone seems to be quite good in features, but the camera is CIF resolution ie.352X288 pixels, which is, frank...ly speaking, rubbish! Personally I feel such cameras should not be included in mobile phones, because the photos taken at that resolution is practically of no use. I'd rather prefer some more hot features, like more memory, better TFT diaplays etc. which can be included at the same cost if the camera is eliminated. If one really needs a camera, then one should go for a camera mobile with at least a 2-3 megapixel resolution. Or simply buy a good digital camera for clicking photos. Of course, people interested in sleazy mms will not like my suggestions...Read More

I'm sure a company like Sify is not existing on the revenue collected from 'one happy customer'.

Dear Respected Sir, It is interesting to see you loose your temper when cornered!! Even after I have answered all your questions (I mean you must be intelligent enough to spot the answers, which you are not) you keep on ranting on and on about your silly questions. Only God can help you! You are cl...early guilty concious and have started developing a severe inferiority complex yourself. Even if we believe for a moment that you set exams for your so called imaginary 'students', God help those students from a fake teacher who doesn't even know how to type. BTW please send me a list of the phrases which I have copied from you; there is a difference between copying and quoting, but you should have a few grammes of grey matter to know that!!!!! This is my last post on this topic. But you may keep blabbing and poking your dirty finger up others' a***s, that's your hobby I'm sure. Over and Out. Read More

(By the way, what broadband service are you using right now? And when next are you going to start hollering about that service? Keep me posted)

Hi Uncle ammar.e, Why do you get pissed off at my praise of Sify? How much do you get paid by other service providers for defaming Sify? I don’t have any stakes in Sify, but I don’t cringe at praising a good service. Hypocrites like you abound all over, though you show that you are leas...t interested in discussing my post, you seem to be too eager to open your big mouth to insult me. You keep on shooting off your BIG mouth without thinking about what you are saying, giving me advice on firewalls and antivirii (that is plural for virus for an ignoramus like you), you keep asking me silly questions like a kindergarten student challenging his dad to answer his questions. You keep asking me about how I check my internet connection speed; Even if for a moment I consider that I know nothing about that, it is going to take just half an hour on the net for me to gather all the info I require, and with a few cut/paste and edit I can show that I am a PhD in the field. But alas, you still want to know the answer, maybe because you are yourself ignorant about it. Anyhow, keeping in touch with me has definitely improved your written English, and that’s a good sign! What do you think, you ignorant fool (sorry to be harsh now, but a spoilt brat like you needs it) that I have been using my computers (I have three of them) for sooo many years without an antivirus software or firewall installed? Can anybody use his computer today without such software, that too while surfing the net 6 to 8 hours daily? Do I have to explain to you what is going to happen to his system in a short while? So why, oh why, do you keep asking such idiotic questions? As you have rightly said 'A fool and his money r soon parted', but that is what has happened to YOU, not me; my money is well spent. So who is the fool? No prizes for that. And now if you will excuse me, I have more important matters to see to, you may take your leave. Thanks. (By the way, what broadband service are youRead More

It was interesting to read your review. On the one hand you praised Sify broadband, but at the same time you are dissatisfied with their customer care and cable operator. I quite agree with you. Sify as such is not a bad service provider, it is the last mile cable operators who bring about a bad nam...e for them. I am also using Sify for more than one year, and I am lucky to be one of the happy customers. I request you to read my review 'Sify rocks' and also all the comments. Thanks.Read More

Now a little bit about my famous Sify BB connection. After my initial payment of Rs.2000/- for installation, I got my connection the very next day. The partners, two young guys, (B.Tech in computer science), configured my computer with the necessary antivirus (McAfee at that time) and client softwar...e and within minutes I was riding on the internet highway. Seems too good to be true? It's a fact. So the moral of the story is, the service and quality you get is a question of 'where' and 'when'; if you are lucky to get a last mile cable provider like mine, you'll be a happy man. The above is totally my own experience, and I invite anybody to try it out at my place anytime! After all, seeing is believing. Lastly, though I may sound harsh, I still don’t harbour any hard feelings for you or anyone else in this forum. Over and out! Read More

Hi Uncle ammar.e, I was expecting a prompt answer from you considering the fact that you don¡¦t have much else to do other than sit at your PC and holler at that big, bad world out there! And of course pass derogatory remarks on others¡¦ reviews. You say that you are my uncle...61;¦s age; in that case you must be around 75 years or so, because my youngest uncle is about 25 years elder to me, got it? (he-he-he). So at 75 years of age you should be actually walking with a stick in the parks enjoying looking at the children (like me) playing around ƒº, and not commenting on broadband connections. You should leave that to experienced people like me. And by the way, that other post by some amrup123 seems to be a fake. You are quite capable of creating multiple user id¡¦s and posting piggy back to get some support for yourself. (like you mentioned I am a Sify employee, remember? You get back what you give, buddy, sort of Newton¡¦s third law of motion) BTW, I don¡¦t ¡§peddle ¡§ electronics and I don¡¦t deal with ¡§customers¡¨; I own a professional audio equipment manufacturing unit, assembling world class PA equipment, which is also exported to about 50 countries all over the world. My experience in electronics (electronics is a second cousin of IT) spans more than 30 years, which also covers design and development of high class audio equipment. I didn¡¦t have any reason to give all these details about myself to you, but still I had to do it for the sake of a juvenile like you. Now a little bit about my famous Sify BB connection. Hi ammar.e. A little bit of decency, while commenting on reviews, will take you a long way, and will also help project a healthier picture of people like YOU! You seem to be a very wise guy with a whole lot of knowledge crammed in your pea sized brain. I pity you. Before you go all out making commen...ts about reviewers, think thrice, because your foolish comments can affect other's decisions. Now to take your points one by one: (1) You don’t have to be a Mahatma to be tolerant, a little bit of tolerance should be built into ourselves. That is what is taught at our schools and by our parents. Now dont tell me I am preaching, it is just a small bit of advice from an elder brother, or maybe uncle? (2) I have enough knowledge and experience to avoid myself being taken for a ride, and the proof is my Sify connection. (3) No ISP, repeat NO ISP, can promise you a minimum speed for their broadband. If that is what your present ISP has done, then YOU have been taken for a ride. Internet connection speed is a highly dynamic property, constantly changing depending on the traffic conditions and congestion. Sometimes the speed may be higher than specified, sometimes lower (mostly lower). But you won't be knowing all these technical matters! (4) How to calculate the speed? Well, now that's too much. I don't think I need to answer that question. It's kindergarten basics!! (5) Time is money? I am using this connection at my home, and I don't need to fly at supersonic speeds through the internet for my regular surfing and downloading. If I have a limited time within which I have to do a lot of surfing/downloading, I would rather go for 512kbps. I get one GB per month, and I just about exhaust that 1GB in a month's time, so where is the problem? Time and money both well spent, isn't it? (6) Me an employee of Sify? I don't even know where their office is in Delhi; I have my own electronics business in Delhi, so I am not a 'loyal' employee writing 'glowing' reviews. BTW,Read More
