Let me discuss what others have not… The engine is made in Indonesia (Hi precision parts manufacture there, definitely better than Indian manufacturing capability) and the bike is assembled in India. The engine is so silky smooth. I just cant believe it. I have ridden unicorn (around 13 bhp e...Read more

First get your basics right. Fuel Injection, Deltabox Frame (200% more rigidity), Monocross suspension, Dual discs, full fairing and a Yamaha brand name dont come cheap. U dont deserve to write in this column. (Yamaha wants to change its image in India and improve their market share and they will su...rely not bring in overpriced products) Bottomline: Its better to ride a perfect 150 cc than a half hearted 225 cc.........Read More

Simply Magnificient !!! Your review is as precise as a Unicorn's gearbox, as superb as the A160, as smooth as P150's ride and as sharp as the Xtreme !!! Keep it up! Great work all in all. Next time I will contact you b4 buying a bike

First get your personal issues sorted with the dealer and then talk something (unbiased) about the bike.

Yeah that’s what I intent to write in this review. Here’s a reality check of what you get for your money in the class of 150 cc. Before making my decision, I made an exhaustive research and this is what I found: 150 CC Comparison check: what you have is a P150, Unicorn, A160RTR and the X-trem...Read more

Thanks for your comment dude. I am enjoying the bike a lot. Yeah your are right 50 kmpl is on the higher side but I have maintained the bike really well to achieve that. I have serviced it four times in my run up to 10k kms. Above tat I drove the bike strictly below 5k rpm in its first 1 k kms. I ch...eck the tyre pressure every third or fourth day and most importantly I ride without a pillon. Even you can achieve that milage if u take care abt a few small things. During my first 1 k kms I made sure to idle the engine for 1 min everytime I cranked the engine after a few hours. My gear chaging habits are also different which makes my bike generate more torque at lower rpms. Hope you find these tips useful. If you can afford use pure synthetic oil (Mobil) to enhance your experience.Read More

TVS has yet again proved that they are a true engineering driven company. To boast of, they have the new Apache RTR 160 in their stable for the young blood. Its not just a bike or an upgrade with a cosmetic job, its more than that... Its India's first (mass produced) bike with a true to the hear...Read more
