Glad to know there are people who share similar sentiments as me. About NDTV I am seeing their change more visible for last few months. Why should pranoy roy stoop to such levels for earning money. Yes godhra incident is a sure case. They first express sentiments supporting 1st party affected, then ...when 1st party reacts they join the second party who is now at receiving end. What a technique?. It was a treat to watch Barkha earlier, now we can see through her that her only aim is extracting some sensational statement from any one, which they can fan up further in later days. Political parties have their own compulsions in attacking other on anymatter good or bad. But NDTV is now worst than even political parties. Atleast stop acting as if they are morally higher terrain. Had almost decided not to go for this one. Because of a review by one MS member i trust. rediff gave it caption Simply Pathetic. But now i am reading many angry reactions from rediff users asking to sack the reviewer instead. So i think some might have went with different expectations and was not ...satisfied with what they got. But majority seems to like it. It is already declared superhit and in 2nd week collections equal rangde basanthi in some places like Bihar. No wonder there is a ad in Tv asking to answer the question who plays the role of bhajea Options are A)Rajpal Yadav B)Lalu Prasad Yadav I don?t know, but i would love watch this one for the simple reason that it has seen the most diverse opinion from movie goers. Can?t afford to miss now.Read More

NDTV had been a channel; I had been always hooked to it from the very beginning. But lately I am getting a feeling that they are overdoing it. In the recent past they are after sensationalizing any issue. Of course some sting operations are always welcome to bring the truth to the public. Sam...Read more

Thank you very much for your points, Your points are so relevant that I had decided to post my response to you in Main page of my review itself. You may not be agreeing with me. But one good thing about RDB is that it provokes thought on this issue. As a review said, you are forced to take a stand i...n favor or against. Thanks once again.Read More

This movie seems to live up to its expectations. Will check out. By the way, not very related to this topic, seems like almost every second hindi movie have an extra marital affair. Is marriage such a terrible thing, with extra marital affair the only hope?. May be my inexperience is making me to th...ink in this line. Anyway after parineeta, saif continues to surprise me positively. Read More

RDB is a huge success and is still in the process of breaking boxoffice records. This movie really does deserve this kind of response. When I went for the movie the movie hall was 95% youth/college students, and I must say that movie did had a huge impact on us all and from a very vociferous ...Read more

Dear Mansoor, thanks for clarifying. Yes the ladies are just meant for filling the situations. I had been more interested Kyon Ki. A film I liked more, and garammasala is just a time pass movie. So I went for garammasala with no big expectations, and am satisfied with end product. I just wanted to k...now kyonki box-office performance and was drawn to GM collections which were doing great in overseas, which I never anticipated seeing the fate of “No entry” there. Any way thanks for your views. We all are never one in expectations about a movie.Read More

Dear manzoor, you are right. But it doesn’t seem the case with Gm here. After all who will dare to talk against Karan Johar and SRK. Sorry to hear that you didn’t find GM interesting. May be you may have set high standards for good movies. But normally overseas box-office mostly reacts p...ositively to watchable movies only, and there GM is really scoring. As far as 3 girls, yes it doesn’t have any sense (may be walls are sound proof so that other girl may not hear the happenings outside the room). But we all went to see GM expecting the same and we didn’t get disappointed. And it is because of this illogical idea that the film is working at both domestic and overseas box office.Read More

Dear Krishnalal glad to see you here. I have already lost all hope with kyon ki now. As you said I thought it will do better in 2nd week. But all odds are now against it. But I think taran adrash is a little bit more enthusiastic to see Kyonki to be a flop. As you said let us see if kyonki can colle...ct 4-5 crores more. As far as GM is concerned Top5 or Top 10 compared to production cost and returns of other movies, will decide its final verdict as Super Hit or not. But I am almost certain that it will beat No entry. Also compared to No Entry overseas collections are mind-blowing with lesser prints. Even Kyonki had more prints. If I am right, this is the first movie to break in to UK top 10 this year (debuted at No:8). Although I liked Garammasala didn’t thought that it would do these much good. So I am just surprised to see it matching even SRK all time hits. We all know that Gm is just meant for fun. But seeing the reports of the possibility of breaking into overseas top 10 all time grosser list is something we all never thought of. A bastion of SRK movies. Still I don’t think Akshay had beaten SRK or Salman in terms of star power as said in some articles. Akshay just got lucky with a variety of roles and good directors. He is yet to prove his worth as SRK. Even flop movies of SRK will have a good run at overseas box-office. That much big SRK is in Overseas. Still hoping Kyonki to be at least an average. Ultimately bad promotions and festival season has hampered Kyon ki. Akshay Kumar rightly said, If Kyon Ki had not been released at the festival seasonthe box office may have sang a different tune. And he too thinks that Kyon Ki is a good movie.Read More

I had clearly stated that it was for 9 days. But if the prints were more it would have been a different story. Most of my friends can’t get tickets in first 5 days since it was houseful. So they had to go for shaadi No:1. Imagine if the prints were the same as Mangal pandey, Veerzara or No ent...ry. Also compare the production cost of Garammasala and other mentioned films and comparative returns. You can find who is the real winner. But overseas collections are the real surprise packet. A SRK bastion. Mainly all these are because Venus matched Yashraj/Karan Johar camp interms of promotion.Read More
