I think he was expecting the old copy, and I gave it anyway. There was no reason to keep the defective copy.

I'm sure you had a very bad experience. I suppose it is the way you dealt with things that caused such problems. An uneducated person may not understand how a business works, but you being an entrepreneur should have been able to manage things and people more properly. 1. You waited for a sin...gle customer care rep to call you back. You do realize that a single person in their may have to deal with more than a 100 calls/day... Anyone in the team could have dealt with your issue after you came back from your trip. 2. If they did not accept to replace the product, it would be wise to elevate the issue and ask the customer care person to give the phone to their manager. Most of the cases, the customer care people may not have authority to deal with such high value goods... I'm sure you understand, being an entrepreneur yourself. 3. You didn't co-operate with the reverse pickup even though you wanted things to be done fast. 4. The company is trying to protect itself when it says that the product will not be shipped unless you give the defective product. Surely you must understand that the delivery guy doesn't the qualification to inspect the defective product and verify its authenticity... what if you had given him an old laptop and moved to a different city. They don't have the resources to track you down and get it. In any case, any electronic item can break down ... or may have manufacturing defect. It is always a risk to purchase them, and if it breaks down...you should realize you're in for a journey.... which I have a lot of experience visiting service centers. Trust me, sitting at home and making calls to Flipkart is far easier.Read More

I have been using flipkart for a long time, mostly for purchasing electronics because of their 30 day replacement policy, which is just too good. But, fortunately for me none of the electronics had any problem. Recently I bought a book, when I opened it I saw that around 10-20 pages were j...Read more

He asked the address of the building and he said he’ll call back later. And he never called back...Read more
