It is certainly not a people's car.One cannot predict the technical viability of the product but can certainly predict its impact on the homes and roads especially when compared to the two wheeler. One can park a two wheeler even in his living room, a two wheeler can go to many places where Nano can...not go. Nano is more than three times costlier than a standard two wheeler. No one denies the fact Nano is the pride of Indian automobile industry in its innovative design but much beyond the reach of the common man.Any fool can predict that people will still carry their family of four on a two wheeler in rain even after the launch of Nano. The price is low in the beginning due to, apart from clever design, incentives provided by the government, in house availability of raw materials and initial low starting salaries of the employees.Read More
