yes sir ... i do agree with you ... on the Suspensions, I intitially thought this stiffness was due to the car being new ... But, i still face this stiffness inspite of driving over 7000 kms . My apologies for previous comments...

Buddies - I have a M2M from Bhawdya (You have only few months experience with your swift. so you dont have any right to put any comments on my review.:) ) ... Hence - I am requesting experienced Owners to post their comments/replies ... :) ... BTW- To understand the Car you drive you dont need... years of experience, even a week would suffice ... Its sheer nonsense if you are complaining about a Car that crossed over 3 lakh units in less than 4 years ... Let good sense prevail...Read More

Well I am not sure on the authenticity of your review ... 1. As you say the Model Year - 2004, But as far as my knowledge goes SWIFT was launced in March-April-2005 ..... 2. Assuming that you might have booked it in 2004 (Advance Booking) your usage tenure from them would be over 4 years... ...Where as you have told us that you have been an unwise owner since 3 years. (This could also make us believe that you have picked up a second hand Car). ---- Now Let me take up with each of the cons you have listed ... Cons: 1) Harsh ride (suspensions are too stiff) - Dont Agree Swift comes with Rally Based Suspensions and are best in its class ... 2) Interior (specially the quality of the plastic) - The only thing I agree with you. 3) Pick-up - Probably you start and accelerate the car in 2nd/3rd Gear. 4) Rattling sound from almost every part of the body (doors, airbag box, ….long list) - This is obvious if the car is over 4 years/Driven Harshly/Senselessly or if its a second hand... 5) Quality of the bumpers (even a small hit can remove the bumper form its assembly) - All cars in its class have the same bumper specifications/infact its better to have your bumper come off instead of a breakage... I strongly suspect your driving skills ... 6) Gear shift (first and reverse gear shifting is terrible) - I agree with this on a Diesel Version but not petrol (Again- I strongly suspect your driving skills ... ) 7) Small glass area (specially back windscreen…so parking problem) - Agree with you in this regard ... But you get the judgement well over a period of time....Drivers with good parking sense ... Dont complain - No Offence but a Very Contradictory Review - Am sure many Swift Owners wont agree even 10% of your thoughts... Many Thanks-SandeshRead More
