Hi Kamana, I availed the Chardham Yatra conducted by GMVN (Garhwal Mandal Vikas Nigam) an enterprise of the Uttarakhand State Government. The Travel dates were from 30th August, 2022 for a period of 9 days. I paid less than Rs.25,000 for travel and very good accommodation. All the hotels I stayed we...re run by GMVN and were really good. The above cost doesn't cover food and travel by ponies in Yamunotri and Kedarnath but still it's quite reasonable. The driver and tour conductor were very nice and kind people and were very responsive to our needs. We also had 4 NRIs from the USA traveling with us. I'm now 66 and I'll always remember this memorable trip.Read More

Shocked to hear of the terrible experience of Sheela Satish on the Chardham Yatra. What makes it even worse that elderly sick people were abandoned to their fate. I went on the Chardham Yatra organised by the GMVN (Garhwal Mandal Vikas Nigam) which is Uttrakhand Government undertaking and not some ...private tour operator. I paid a little less than Rs.25,000 as a senior citizen. This covers all accommodation and travel during the 9 day period commencing from 30th August, 2022. Since all the hotels enroute are owned by the Uttarakhand Government, there was never an accommodation problem. The accommodation was really good. Food was quite good in these hotels but, of course, you need to pay for it. The guide was in his mid-forties and a good kind hearted helpful man who gave us various tips on how to avoid crooks and scammers. I am now 66 and will always cherish the memories of this trip. A word of advice. If something sounds to good to be true, it probably isn't. God Bless!Read More

Heard that plastic quality is very poor. Door handles break off within days. AC develops problems very shortly. In fact Mahindra Thar is said to be a problem ridden jeep with niggling issues.
