If you plan to go through your notice period of 2 months then there should be no issues. If too much harassment, use a lawyer....or just make the news public like Times of India Editor. manisha, Here's what you can do. I did the same thing. Get a WIPRO letterhead and write a relieving letter for yourself. Get it signed by your colleagues and you can also get one copy signed by your project lead. This serve's as an effective letter in any organization you join. Very True. Even though they have a policy which says you can pay and leave before 2 months, they have smartly added a clause which says the employee needs to give a proper Knowledge Transfer before leaving. Even though the employee gives the knowlege transfer they need to charge the billing rate wit...h thier clients. In no case they let go of the employee before 2 months. You can't go to the courts coz they will always sAY EMPLOYEE DIDN'T GIVE KNOWLEDGE TRANSFER. ITS A SMART POLITICIAN TYPE CLAUSE. I AM NOT SURE IF INFOSYS OR TCS DO THE SAME THING. BUT I GUESS INDIAN COMPANIES SHOULD CHANGE OTHERWISE ONLY PEOPLE THEY WILL GET IS SC AND ST WORKING FOR THEM.Read More
