Although I am not with C-DAC now, I can say from my experience at C-DAC, that the courses at C-DAC are beneficial for freshers who do not get a break in IT industry through their College Campus and are very keen to work on latest technologies.
The placements of C-DAC batches may differ as per mark...et situation, but it is one of the best institute for rigorous training, in Pune.

According to me, C-DAC Pune, C-DAC Bangalore, Sunbeam, IACSD, MET and even VITA are good centres for studying...However the placements depends on your academic credentials, C-DAC score and YOUR performance. So if you have decided to study in C-DAC or studying there please do the course with utmost s...incerity as it can CHANGE your life and give a proper direction to your career.

Dear C-DAC Aspirants,
I am glad to receive your queries about C-DAC, however I am not with C-DAC anymore, so I am least informed about the admission process/status about the same. Still if you want to know the status, you can call the landline no. of C-DAC ACTS, 020-25503106/07.
Also please do... not take admission in C-DAC only for placement as it is the byproduct. If you really want to learn something and make your career in that field then only go for DAC/WiMC/DESD/DSSD or DITISS.

@ All the aspiring and current students of C-DAC:
The structure of CDAC course, be it DAC, WiMC, DESD or any other course is well defined and so the placements solely depends on your grasping power and performance, apart from some variable factors like Recession in Job Market and Competition fro...m other institutes.
However, since the job market is currently low, you have to work hard and grab the opportunity that comes your way, irrespective of the salary, Service agreement and location. Because once the job market picks up, as an experienced candidate you will be in demand than the ones who rejected the jobs and sitting idle.

@mantisha: You may find it tough convincing the Companies that you do not have any experience even though u passed 4 years back. However, some small companies may give you a chance based on your competency. Hi Guys,
It seems everyone is worried about placements. Although C-DACians think that training is more important than placements. If you do your training part with utmost sincerity, you will get a break in IT and Communication industry, whatever your previous academics may be.
And Sneha ma'am,... it's reply and not replay. that's why we say Soft skills training is also very crucial. I hope it was a hastily made mistake.
