Giving a bad rating doesnt change Vista as such. regadding the logic of hackers for not targetting the 3% mac as compared to 90 % windows - its true - but we are not discussing security here anyway. We are just discussing easy day to day stuff that Vista just makes hard to do with. and just FYI : th...e way Mac OS is built, it leaves very less scope of getting hacked anyway.Read More

The Vista i use was shipped preinstalled with a toshiba satellite series notebook. Secondly.. i have nothing against MS (I was an employee of MS once upon a time). Most MS products are engineered to be less stable, Thats all.

I agree with what you say, But the main reason why Mac was not so popular is bacause (and only because) they used a very unpopular processor (PowerPC) till date. Now that they are using Intel.. i am sure they will surpass PCs in a matter of time. Secondly the basic idea of a GUI is that of Apple. Ic...ons/Buttons/Windows is all a Mac Idea. Even the mouse is the invention of Apple !. Microsofts main reason for success whas the Intel platform. Otherwise as far as ease of use and stability is concerned.. Mac wins any day. Linux is surely a great OS but its still very open ended in lots of places and not really ready for the desktop market.Read More
