No the problem is not fixed. Ford people are just making me go round and round. They now say they would keep the car of 15 days...which I can't afford to. :(

Yes they have replied to get the car checked on November 10th at SouthCity Ford...but not sure what will be the result/ outcome.

After southcity replaced the Actuator a sensor in the accelarator. Please note the current problems with the car: 1. Mileage problem persists. The car does not give more that 8 to 9 KPL in City 2. The speedometer digital display trip meter suddenly gets blank for a minute and then resets whil...e driving the car resetting everything to zero (0). The behaviour is abnormal. Has happened 5 times so far. 3. The starting problem has happened 3 times after South City replaced the Actuator. The work around for me was to open battery terminals And again reconnect after 5 min to fix it. It seems there is some major fault with various parts in this particular make/piece of Ford Fiesta and I am literally disturbed what to do and what not to do. There are some major part faults which I am not sure of and has never faced with any other car company. My family members are so perturbed With these failures of the car that they want this entire car to be replaced by Ford India else sell it at whatever price I get and go for some Stable models like Honda City / Aveo etc. I need to take a decision soon as the confidence of my family with Ford India is shattered. I agree to this that you cant get 22.xx KPL but you should get minimum 14-15 KPL. However my bad luck with the 1.4 EXI petrol is I am also getting 8-9 KPL and the service center people do not have any clue to how to resolve this. They have done KPL test about 10 times. :(

SM, Thanks for all the luck. I have written to ford India but no reply yet. :( I think I need to get that part ECM replaced and you are right the service center guys are not competent enough. They did fix the starting problem but the mileage issue is still there and my gas guzzler is giving a ...tough time. Ford needs to own the car but I am sorry to say the reply is very poor :( I hope they do sometimes read these comments.Read More
