just that many a times when ever I send a mails to friend "fwd mail" "some chit chat" mails some "useful mail"... and that tooo in at middle of the working hours.... the first reply I got from any one is that "hay appu don't you have any work at office are you that much free to send a mail"
That sounds fishy to me why do my friends say that, but I have lot of work even in that I can send mail or call some or sms.. if possible can go out of office to chill out, some time to have coffee at road side shop too….
Yes there are some heaps of work on my back tooo to finish…. Last minute meeting will come up… some 80 pages of document will come up with target time of few minutes…. But still I can work and do the entire thing with my thoughts in it…
Its just that…
CONSCIOUSLY practice getting to all your appointments 10 minutes early. Use that 10 minutes to sit quietly, do some funny thing, relax your mind… and then organizing your thoughts and ideas. Space your day out to allow 10-20 minutes between various activities…. Ya then you will see… you can send more mails than me… to put in other words
" you are what you are!! and you will do what you think.. rather than what your mind thinks"
And for sure don't do multitasking… unless you feel like do it at its best…
This will actually make you more productive. Do what you have to do to withdraw from distractions and you will effortlessly achieve twice the work in half the time.
Try it…. just though of saying this…
Off ooooo don't reply for this mail too with words " Appu don't you have work"
Just sit and think friend… its your life not your boss or client or company or workplace, to decide your life… and time.
