Years galore I have fought in vain for my peers recognition,
tired , ignored, thoroughly beaten I have run out of ammunition
for my want for popularity, I seek no absolution,
got to start from scratch I thought with reluctant realization.
You see circumstances force me often unfairly in to bad light,
unlike in movies, misunderstandings rarely resolve, making me a sore sight
with constant jokes by fate, none of you can imagine my plight,
for I believe happiness in what we seek is a mans sole right!
Old and armed with experience I have quit my quest for popularity,
advicing young ones, others from events of my similarity;
oh but who else can understand them with my sense of familiarity.
A small touch of pride as I bring them back to reality!!
