I am forced to ask myself this question. Why ?
Does the MS have any system in place ? From the spate of CALLGIRL ads and escort service DP's which are being published under one name or the other, it is obvious there is no system in place to screen such stuff. Every time such an ad appears, one of the members notices it and writes to Faisal / caretaker and then the DP is deleted. Even offensive pictures fall in same category.
By the time someone notices the offensive material and before it s removed, a lot of irrepairable damage has been done.
Why has it to be this way ? A good social networking site is getting degenerated into a porn peddling site by the negligence and indifferent attitude of the management team.
A place is ONLY AS GOOD as the people there. It is true for one's home, building, society, company, state or country.
If a place gets unsafe, as a member, we try to get the things corrected / mistake rectified by bringing it to notice of the management...once...twice...thrice....after that, if the ways are not mended, rather than breaking one's head against the wall....the inevitable will follow...
I am an optimist and am hopeful that Faisal and his team will do the needful to make this beautiful site a safe place…a clean place…where we can proudly visit with our sons and daughters without having to face embarrassing questions and awkward situations…..Faisal….will you grant my wish ? the wish of many of us ? ? ?
