hii folks

the very yesterday while in my way in metro I had heard the telephonic conversation between two employees of an...........organisation....that experience had prompt meto write on a this relevant issue...which may be many of us had faced any part of our proffessional life...

their is common practice in the organisation which our managers uses in our day to day meetings that the highest performer will be rewarde in this way...or that way....

no doubt his basic aim is to overall stimulate the performance of employees.

initially I see that such motivation schemes essentially result in desired performance...

but

i had saw many dark aspect of this system too...

suppose their are 8 employees in a specific department....n the employee x had achieved that specific target...n now he had gone to foreign trip wid his family as per the reward system of the employer..

but

at the same time I think this system is more of all creatting a non cohecive employees ...see wat ll be the mental state of other 7 employees.

also

in todays highly competitive times ascievement of targets is group effort...a proper communication is must among all section of employees for the overall prosperity of organisation.

i infact had found that many seniors who r getting a gud perk in organisation are leaving or shifting to other companies as coz of their company inclination for award to individual..

also

in such competitve situations even peers start hidding many specifin n strategic information to each others as now they r more like competitors for a specific target & not co-workers who are very important man power of organisational achievements.

such non faith n doubtful situation in any organisation is bad for the overall progress of the prganisation.

the employees of such work group feels more frustration n his productivity is affected & manytimes shift to other companies in order to satisy their ego..

infact many competitive companies r using this frustration of current employees of their competitor companies to attract them toward them...a lots of cases r prelevant in pharma n insurance sector .....apart from other sectors..

so wat z the solution 2 this?????????

does organisation stops giving target n perks associated to that target????

or

should not introduce any reward system?????

my answer is the organisation should not stop itself from rewarding its employees...but,they should introduce the system whic will also satisfy the emotional ego of other employees tooo.

it should not make them mere competitors only...

instead of individual reward system group reward system is more acceptable...

research had proved that employee in group reward system organisation are more committed as compared to other organisations...

also

they are more cohecive wid each others....

in fact many larger MNC's are now thinking about group reward system tooo...

in the end...friends it was all mine view..

plzzzzz feel free to share ur experience

-regards

ravi
