Mazhar bhai's DP on MCI set me thinking.....the topic - corruption..
Almost all corruption is done by people occupying posts and positions of power..The basic criteria for many of these positions is educational qualifications..A jail term for the corruption will not be a sufficient punishment for such misuse of power and flouting of rules...
We are going to have Aadhar in our country....
The universities should amend their bye-laws to include a clause that if a person is found guilty of CORRUPTION by law, all his degrees and awards conferred by universities and govt/aided bodies stand cancelled.
This data above should be fed into the person's UID.(Aadhar)
All his assets be attached by the govt.
Govt to issue a gazette notification that any organisation employing OR purchasing from OR selling to a corrupt person shall be liable to pay a fixed percentage (say10%) of their turnover as CORRUPTION TAX.
With the above steps, the corrupt person would not be able to occupy any position of power, and it would be difficult to get an employment or do any business.
We are the largest democracy, but we can make our rules to stop anyone even thinking of being corrupt...DO WE HAVE THE WILL POWER ?
