Everybody is endowed with the same amount of brain or grey cells almost, but why do some of us use it negatively and others use it positively is a ? bothering us Msians. Is this forum not democratic enough to express boldly ? Or is it some of us want to act goody GOODY in our original id and exhibit negative shades in fake id ? Why should not one be bold enough to exhibit his ideas, criticise or suggest in his or her own original id ? Why one needs a Jekll and Hyde personality.
The recent episode of Shalu being targetted delieberately by Pinkpanther is an eye opener to all genuine stars. Kudos to Shalu for bring it to the notice of the members and MS administration regarding character assasination. Congrats to MS administration for deleting the account immediately on receipt of her grouse. I am sure MS will take steps in future to ensure that Star members are not insulted for their contribution. I know an earlier instance where another female member removed her photo because she was targetted by some fake ids. I am sure that this forum will be well off without such fake ids who are present only for the purpose of nuisance value. A healthy debate on any subject matter is always welcome, but when it gets personal and insulting it crosses the border of character assasination it is unwelcome.
How can we ensure that such fake ids don t thrive in a professional review platform wherein the users spend their valuable time and energy penning their thoughts and experiences for others to benefit in future. Some suggestions from my side are :
1) MS can monitor all new members enrolled in some form or the other.
2) MS can insist on furnishing Mobile nos of members to regulate fake ids.
3) Msians can boycott commenting on fake ids, just like in guest SMS reviews.
4) Msians should be motivated to post their profile picture after 3 months of joining,
Otherwise their account should be deleted or deactivated.
For example my IP protocol is still Mumbai where I purchased the computer, but I am residing in Bangalore. This does not mean I should display or claim that I am living in Mumbai. Secondly if I have posted a unpalatable comment the other member should be able to call me up and ask me to delete the offensive comment, that is a man to man way of sorting out things.
Friends being educated and groomed in good family atmosphere means that we display the same amount of concern to others. Why should be potray a Jekll and Hyde personality ? Are we here to exchange ideas or to insult each other is the moot question.
If Fenil can write a beautiful review on film we appreciate his analytical ability. His writing inspired me to pen some film reviews. I know how difficult is to pen a film review which is definitely not my cup of Tea. Of course from business angle I have been advising him not to reveal the plot completely. Lol He will realise it when he starts directing his own film. Even I was accused of revealing the plot in case VEER which I had to take it with a pinch of Salt. In case of RANN I was asked to reveal the complete story and not in a trailer form, but I resisted considering the stand that I have taken. Keep something on the table for the viewer to see and judge and indirectly enable producers to recover their investment. I hope my logic makes sense FENIL.
I too was guilty of faking my id in IPL, which had an interesting twist. I have explained the logic behind it in the DP you all check it out. In the bargain I discovered that the moderator was fooling the participants in the chat with live chats with likes of Mandira Bedi and others. I stumped him literally when he was faking a Zimbabwe commentor on chat when he was seen live on telecast ? So it became a sting operation of sorts by Priya ( my fake id ) Lol. Is it justified, some cynics may say no way ? You could have exposed him in original id itself........of course I could have done it, but he was threatening to ban me in original id, than I had no option. Still I know I am guilty of transgression and therefore I had to confess in the form a DP.
After digression the moral of the story is Why FAKE ? When you can achieve the same in your original AVATAR................What is your take friends ?
