This is a compact pencilbox like stereo system (2x 3W RMS and 600 W PMPO) with built in music player and FM radio.
It also has USB & SD card in which you can keep your pendrive or sd cards and it will play.
It has a built-in Li-ion re chargeable battery which can be charged from a 5V charger or your USB slot in PC.
Nothing of these features warrant this review.
It is only and one point of this that is worth it's salt is that Quality of the sound output.
For me it is mind blowing. Don't blast me if you expected a 5.1 channel output. No sir, No!
It is clean sound output that mesmerizes me.
And that too from speakers of that size! I did not expect that
Secondly the volume is also quite good.
I used it on my dining table, while I sleep and also connect to my PC (through Aux in Port).
It is a chinese one and Tech-com is importer.
And at that price ( I got it for 699 Rs on tradus.com ) it is very very good.
Of course I have to express my concerns.
One - the english manual (A 5 sized) does not tell you much.
You get bored with the chinese english. But there is one solution for this. goto the website techcomindia.com and look in downloads section. you get better one.
My 2nd concern is in general for all Li-ion based speakers. What is the life time of these batteries. At the end of this life time what are you supposed to do? open it and replace? is it possible? do now know.
By the way I had seen many competitors for this speakers like Iball brand(Music Boat model ),Zebronics brand( Zeblite,Nitro model) Ismart etc.,
But I do now know about their sound output quality.
Tech-com SSD 600 does NOT have a LCD so no lyrics display etc.,
Iball has a LCD and also has a clock I think.
So somebody may comment on them if they had purchased
