When we talk about to have control over things, it could only be possible by monitoring each and every thing carefully. Surveillance also means the same, if you talk about the bookish definition of surveillance it would be- surveillance is the monitoring of the behavior, activities, or other changing information, usually for people, for the purpose of influencing, managing, directing, or protecting them.
Recently, news about the hacking of DEBIT CARDS had came, and that illegal practice had been traced after 2 or 3 months after the incident happen. And that totally because of the lack of surveillance by banks.
In my previous blog I have talked about WTO, its also a good example of surveillance because it monitors all the international trade practices. If something illegal happens WTO immediately take action over that to maintain law and order in international trade.
So, in order to have control over all the thing irrespective of what ever it is. surveillance is very important.
