It seems like there is a concerted campaign by paid spammers against certains brands such as Bajaj Allianz, Standard Chartered, etc. on MouthShut_Official. By creating fake profiles and posting negative ratings and comments against certain brands, these spammers are attempting to devalue certain brands.
I had written a review on Bajaj Allianz General Insurance way back in January 2009. It got decent ratings and some comments and then was forgotten with the passage of time. The link is: https://mouthshut.com/review/Bajaj-Allianz-General-Insurance-review-sooumtquqm
However, since last two or three weeks, I am getting new rating and comment notifications quite frequently for this review. It was quite surprising for me to suddenly see such hectic activity for a four year old review! But more interesting was the pattern being followed. Every rating was "Not Useful" and was followed by a negative comment about Bajaj Allianz.
Upon going through the timelines of these persons, many of them seem to be leading a concerted campaign against Bajaj Allianz, posting negative reviews in various categories and giving negative ratings to others' positive/average reviews on Bajaj Allianz.

I would request MouthShut_Official to do something to ban such people, who seem to be more of paid spammers rather than genuine reviewers. It is disappointing to see one's review ratings destroyed by such people who are not interested in giving genuine feedback on any product and are simply abusing this platform for their selfish motives. If no action is taken on such people, it will surely result in erosion of the credibility of MouthShut_Official in the long run, as people will no longer find reviews credible enough to believe.
