The Sony 1TB external hard drive is of very cheap quality . It works very good. However the connections are of very cheap quality. I purchased one in Sept'14 and in Feb'15 the pin from inside the hard drive came out along with the cable. I took it to the service center as it is a manufacturing defect. They refused to even entertain me or assist me on how I could retrieve my data from the drive, as only the pin has come out from inside the hard drive. The personal even goes to the extent to tell me go complain where you want it will not help.
VERY CHEAP QUALITY AND POOR CUSTOMER SERVCE if in warranty.
