As a Finance student, I love to track and analyze stock market, the ups and downs of the market. At the same time being into a B School, I usually notice the girls and try to analyze them too. So as an analyst m going to compare stock market and girls but before doing that I want to tell that for stock market m analyst and also potential investor but as far as girls are concerned, m only interested in doing analysis, no investment of any type in that. Some of the findings are:
As we all know that stock market is known for its interesting features like volatile nature of share price, unpredictable momentum, high return on investment, etc. Girls are also known for some features like unpredictable behavior, ROI (investors can calculate according to their requirements), etc.
There are two methods to analyze the stocks either through fundamental analysis or technical analysis. Fundamental analysis is all about finding the future prospects of the company by studying fundamental factors like financial statements analysis, efficiency of management, growth of the company and industry, etc. Technical analysis is about predicting the future trend by studying the past price movements, volume, momentum in the stock. Girls can also be analyzed by these two methods,
Fundamental and Technical.
Fundamental Analysis:
Quality of management: in this one can analyze the type of boyfriend she is having, what’s his character, how many girlfriends he is having, etc. If no boyfriend then one can look after a mom.
Growth: here the growth means mental and emotional.
General factors: past record, in which things she is more interested, sensitive to what issues, etc.
Technical Analysis:
In this one should analyze the trend going on in terms of mood, emotions, feelings and the volatility in girls. One of the assumptions behind the technical analysis is that 'history repeats itself' so investor should always remember that mood and behavior of a girl is not going to remain same forever, it will change according to the past trend.
In technical analysis we always heard that 'trend is your friend', so investors should try to respect the upswings in the behavior of girls as it will reap the benefits in short to medium term.
- We all know the main reason behind the 2007 rally and current rally in the market that is FII investment. The more money gets invested in the stock market, more it will rise and give returns to the investors but the moment foreign and big domestic investors start pulling their investments back, the market start correcting and reach to its equilibrium level.
Same case is with girls (though with exceptions). Isn't it??
Also don't panic when the market comes down or start correcting as it is good sign for the sustainability of the market in long term. If you have invested in a company which is fundamentally strong with a long term view than that stock will pay you for sure. Again the same case with girls, only the payoff in this case is beyond any material benefits which is long term relationship, emotional support, tons and tons of love, etc which I can't define (though I have already made 1 time investment in this and it is beautiful feeling). I don't think further elaboration is required here.
It is well known fact in stock market that 'Greed is not good' (though it is ignored by many). Same is true with girls; don’t run behind the girls they will burst you.
Whenever, an investor feels that he is now comfortable with the basic intricacies of stock market then he can switch to derivatives (Futures & Options) to take some more risks for the additional returns. Same in case of girls. Finally to summarize, it just depends on the investors that he will be able to get returns or not, from stock market and from girls.
