Shimla - My weekend rendevous !

By: mailsukhi | Posted Jun 24, 2008 | General | 828 Views

Today when I opened my mail box, I received lots of "Review Comment Summary" and "Review Rating Alert" mails. I was wondering how so many people have started commenting on my reviews again.

Later when I logged in here, I found that my "Sarkar Raj" review had been christened ROTD or "Review of the Day" on 22nd June 2008. This day has been marked as the Red Letter Day in my life.

Thanks to all those who read, rated and commented the review earlier. Special thanks also to those who criticized my previous reviews so as to inspire me to write better. And last but not the least, I want to thank this platform where our writings are appreciated and encouraged. Thanks again, MS :-).

BTW, the worst part of it all was that I was away over the weekend and could not see my review as ROTD, basically on MS's front page. But this has inspired me to write more reviews and better ones at that so that I can be there again and again.

Who doesn't like being recognized, he... he... lol!

Guess what guys, I was away to SHIMLA! The weather was heavenly. The trees, shrubs, flowers, fruits were all glistening after the recent showers. The entire flora and fauna were inviting us to stay back. During the day the sun was playing hide and seek with the clouds, literally. At nightfall the clouds just disappeared and the sky was strewn with millions of stars (I could actually see so many of them with my naked eyes and that's the amazing part dear!!! - In Delhi howsoever much you try, we hardly can spot 10-15 stars). Our lungs were rejoicing in the fresh, unpolluted, unadulterated air. Our limbs got alive after a 3 -4 kms long trek one way. We plucked fruits from the trees and had to our heart's content. Our heart was dancing with joy.

The gist is that I just didn't feel like coming back to the sweltering, hot Delhi, sniff sniff !!!

But alas, life has to go on. Hence, I am back.

Please give me some time to check out the reviews and diaries I missed.

Will visit in my own sweet time and comment (If I get tempted to).

Will upload some snaps in my album. Do check them out in your sweet time :-).

Loads of fresh air and love.
