After extending the daily withdrawal limit from Rs 2500 to Rs 4500 a few days ago, they had increased the limit to Rs 10000. Finally, three months after demonetization, the withdrawal limit has been lifted from current, cash credit and overdraft accounts
However, there has been no extension of the weekly withdrawal limit which is still Rs 24000
Also, the limits on saving bank accounts will Remain the same. They will be taken under consideration for withdrawal in the future
With the bank queues almost vanishing after the withdrawal limit was increased to Rs 10,000, this extension will make the withdrawal process easier and hassle free for all of us
