This is a shocking revelation few days back. A friend of mine went to petrol bunk, they filled petrol and he was on the way when suddenly his bike stopped. He tried to start it several times but in vain. He checked spark plug etc but everything was okay. At that time, a passerby saw my friend and asked him to remove the fuel pipe and check. He did the same and was shocked to see that the tank was empty. Then, he realized that the bunk people cheated him. When the bunk person was filling petrol, the meter was showing 50 Rs but in actual he was cheating. I wonder what he did but meter was running but petrol was not delivering into the tank. This is really shocking. If there was already some petrol in the tank, my friend would not know this, but since his tank was dry he could explore the crime being committed. God only knows how many persons they are cheating on a daily basis, but I hope after this incident my friend and I became very cautious. Now, I carry a 1-liter bottle with me, I get the bottle filled and then pour into my petrol tank. I felt this is safe, but no guarantee for the quality of petrol still.........
