cont' ONE SCARY NIGHT PART 2
"Is it possible that the shadow wants to kill me? But why...why...he or she will do it? Almighty God... help me pleaseeeee!"Im already screaming I know, so loud and more louder this time! But no voice was coming out in my mouth. "What am I going to do now?"Then I remember," Ohhh... the police... yes, I'll call the police, the shadow will not know anyway."I keep myself alert, because I'm already feeling crazy and paranoid."I am dying now...dying of fears that any seconds the shadow could enter and shoot me dead. Yes, there's so much fear that engulf my whole body. The strong cold wind blowing and the rain getting stronger, add more coldness in my heart and hands."
Suddenly, I heard a loud knock in the front door. "Could this be the police officers?" I still hear myself asking as I woke up with that loud knock. Slowly I went near the door and with trembling hands and voice, I asked "Who is that?" a well- modulated voice answered me,"Mam we are the police officers."I was silent for awhile but suddenly I thought,"Oh my God, was it possible that I called up the police?" Still wondering, I opened the door and ask them to come in. But I said," I'm sorry officer, it's too dark here. The lights went off...errr...errr, why do the neighbors have lights,now?" I'm a bit surprised that only my house was dark.Then, the police officers said, "Mam, please switch on your light, there had been light since an hour ago. And we came, because your neighbors called at the station and said that they heard someone's screaming here and twas too dark. They tried to knock at your door to investigate and see whats going on, but no one answered. So they called 711(911 in USA). That's why we came, I'm sorry to disturbed you Mam, but...are you ok?"and suddenly I realized that I put off the main switch, when the lights went off, that's why I still don't have light."Mam, are you ok? Is something wrong here?" The police officer asked again and again as I looked shocked in front of them. Suddenly, I was back to my senses, as I realized it's almost morning.The roosters started to crow one after the other, the rain stopped falling. "Ah, yes officer. Yeees...Im alright...thank you so much for coming." Without further questioning the police officers left and I was alone again.
I was still looking at the police car as its heading to the highway until the light of the car vanished in a little bit dark way, because its still dawn. I slowly returned to my couch, sat down, trying to recall what had happened, then suddenly I remembered that the kids went on a two days vacation together with their nanny. Its week end, at least they can enjoy the nice scenery of the volcano near the lake in the province where I grew up. I took a glass of water, drink as much as I could until I could breath freely.Then suddenly I realized, twas another bad dream again being dead tired of the whole day activity in work. Once more, I slept too much while watching the scary movie. Again, it's another " ONE SCARY NIGHT!
