Not too long ago, a celebration of love(heart) was celebrated world wide. A romantic candle light dinner for two, viewing of the sunset in the boulevard with your special someone, a romantic serenade with your love one while sipping your cup of tea, or watching a love story movie while munching or chewing a bunch of pop-corns or peanuts and sipping a cold cola drinks. Well, there are thousands and one more ways we can do, to make every moment special most especially, on Valentine's day. And its always wonderful experienced to have sweet moments with the love of your life. But maybe few of us or some of us were not aware that this year, is the year where women can enjoy their freedom to find love and propose marriage? Do you know what I mean? Cupid could play an important role to shoot more arrows to many hearts and soul of ladies who have not fall'in in love yet? So guys, dont hide away, its the women's year. So, single ladies this is the best month & year for you who wants to catch the last trip or train. What Im trying to tell is, 2012 is leap year. This happens only once every four years. Shall I say, grab the opportunity ladies(lol!)? Well, its been said that its a practice (Im not sure if its true or not) that during this month and year, traditionally, shy ladies in Europe can propose marriage in a leap year only. Or to some, it is this year that women(especially old maid) have the chance of a lifetime to let their feelings out for the man of their choice.
Anyway, Im not here to discuss more on leap year and how women should propose. It happened that I remember it's leap year. This post is being inspired by Jmathur's blog entitled, "Loving The Days You Love Me" and was chosen as FB(https://mouthshut.com/blog/fbeenusmt/Loving-the-days-you-loved-me). Actually I have written this blog, long before Valentines day celebration, but something keeps me busy for the moment that I forgot to post it. I have edited some lines that is no longer relevant to the past celebration so as not to make this post more longer.
Well, Jm as I fondly call him, is a sweet, sentimental but sensible and romantic person, I know. Everyone who knows him well, have surely more good things to say about this gentleman. My attention was caught on how well he expressed in his blog the desires of his heart. Although happily married, yet, the memories of the once romantic past still haunts his silent reverie even in his waking hours. Especially, if a love songs that is romantically linked is being played. I can see the undying love of the once lovely feelings. A love that will be cherished and remembered always in his life. This line says it all, " You can stop loving me but I can never stop loving the days you loved me. " But should I say that fate is so unkind for both of them? Or should I say that love has its own language and meaning that only lovers can understand and parting is the best solution? Why are some true love are lucky to be together while others are not? And why are other couples can live longer with their partners even everyday of their lives is miserable like hell and yet they call it, LOVE? aaahhh LOVE...sometimes you're easy to understand but most of the time you come mysteriously in one's life.
Back with my dear friend Jm. I find him in love with love and the sweet memories of the past with the dear woman in his life. Im sure his loving and understanding wife understands him well and love him the way he is. I should say that, Jm is a lucky man that he has both wonderful ladies in his life. And I can say that he just deserves to be loved by them. But I always believe, that letting go a love one doesnt mean you're not worth his/her love, its all about somebody else is better than you, but you are the best for that someone else. This is what happened to JM. They (his past love)may not be together by now, but he's happy as well with his present situation. He is a total picture of a successful man, husband, father and son to his parents. I believe that God has every reasons what's best for him and by putting trust and faith on his Creator, everything went fine.
So on this Valentine's season, give love and get love in return. Everyday is a blessing. LIFE is the best gift and LOVE is the best feeling to cherish and respect always. Let the color of love be our rainbow that promise a shelter in time of storms in our lives. And may the love and life of Jm (jmathur )serves an inspiration to anyone of us.
