According to hindu beliefs planets impact each and every individual right from the moment of one's birth unto his death. If one takes the re-birth theory into consideration, the previous birth also influences life on earth in the current birth.

Location : How to cover Navagraha temples which is spread over distance of 200 kms in round trip. If one is travelling by train one has get down at Mylatdurai and cover the eastern portion of the trip including chidambaram and Velankani. Then move to Kumbakkonam and cover the rest of the Navagraha temples. Otherwise if one wants to cover only Navagraha temples it can be covered from the base of Kumbakkonam. It is best to hire a cab to quickly cover all the temples, otherwise one may require as many as 4 days by bus.

While on journey we met a Rajasthani family who were advised by their guru to undertake 3 trips to get rid of the Guru dosha. The intricacy of the trip was divided between the sisters and brother. The belief was strong which would help the sisters marry and brother to get rid of his problem in his business.

We hired a cab for a round trip from Maylatdurai and covered a distance of 250 kms starting withVaideeswaran temple which is dedicated to Mars.Next we proceeded directly to Chidambaram to visit Nataraja koil. It started pouring cats and dogs and the water literally soaked us. After Chidambaram we proceeded to Srikali temple. Than we visited the Budhan temple which is dedicated to Mercury.

Later in the afternoon we covered Ketu temple and we reached the Shanieswar temple after noon. Once again the downpour was tremendous throughout the journey. Most of the temples in TN is closed during noon from 1 - 4 so one has to plan accordingly, if one is lucky than one gets to cover additional tourist destination.

On the second day we decided to cover from Kumbakkonam base. We once again hired a cab and began our journey from Darasuram, than we visited the Rahu temple.

After that we proceeded towards Sukran temple and covered the Suryan temple too. Thus we managed to cover 7 of the Navagrahas, Guru and Chandran temple remained as uncovered for paucity of time. We covered the famous Gangaikondacholapuram and the local temple at Kumbakkonam. We had an excellent lunch at a mess, which made our minds refreshed. The non-veg were a real delicacy, chicken curry, crab masala and fish fry. Yummy we were blessed by all the grahas.
