Mystery of Mumbai

MUMBAI, the land of endless dreams and millions of hopes is one of the most loved cities of the beautiful and vibrant country of India. Everyday thousands of people from all over the country come to the city to find their homes and build up their dreams. So, why is it that so many dreamers think that this city is the one stop for fulfilling their wishes? Why is it that this is the city that they think is the place where abundant opportunities and scope are present?!

The reason, I think, not only lies in the city but is also realized when you live or come from another city. It is when you actually compare; you realize what this city offers you more than the others. It can be the warmth that the city provides every person or the hope it gives out. I have lived in Mumbai for 10 yrs and it’s actually been 3-4 yrs since I really got to see and feel the real city. When I travel in a crowded train or bus or when I am l looking for directions, there are always people who will come to my aid when sincerely ask. Mumbai is an excellent blend of various cultures and classes. Whether it’s the glitz and glamour portrayed by the high and elite society or the sweetness and freeness of the common man, all of them have one simple trait of growth and unselfishness. Anyone and everyone who is willing to grow together with the city are always welcomed.

With such a scope of growth and space seen by the people, these days everyone flocking to Mumbai has gotten a tough competition to battle it out for your share of the city and its profits, which is why it is increasingly becoming more and more expensive! In the end, I would like to say only one thing about the city which I heard from someone I knew, ‘if you accept the city, the city will defiantly accept you!’
