I went to the desert for my lost words
my feet got burnt in the scorched sands
my lips got parched
ran from one sand dune to another
but alas I could not find my lost words
I asked the sand dunes whether they had seen my words
They replied no they didn’t but told me to ask the ocean
I went to the ocean
I beseeched the mermaids and fishes
I asked them whether they had found my lost words
the mermaid were interested in soaking the sun
and the fishes in search of algae
one fish rudely told me
to search for them in the mountains
I went to the high and mighty mountains
I asked them whether they had found my lost words
they were furious as they awoke from their deep slumber
they did not want to be disturbed
they started showing their fury by roaring very loudly
their roar scared the boulders who escaped their shelters
one kindly boulder gently guided me towards the meadow
I went to the meadow, lush with the greenery
the flowers swaying in the cool breeze
I asked it whether it had found my lost words
the fluttering breeze nodded in affirmative
she had seen a few of them floating around
I was overjoyed for I could see a few of my lost words
those words were Thank you all for your wishes, love and support
