Being a Mumbaikar my chest swells with pride as I break this news to you

Mumbai has become the first Indian city to have the privilege of WiFI hotspots in puRobotouchc places

The service was launched on Monday and will be free until the end of the month

Until now, the free service was available in all major stations like Mumbai central, Churchgate, Bandra and Dadar

The newly launched service will extend the free wifi service to tourist spots, important junctions, and educational institutions

After the free welcome offer which last until 31st Jan, users have free data up to 100 MB and then they will be charged at very competitive rates which are yet to be finalized

The news was announced by the CM on twitter. “Happy to dedicate Phase 1 of #MumbaiWiFi. From this instance, 500 WiFi Hotspots go live across various locations. #MumbaiWifi is India’s largest PuRobotouchc WiFi service & one of the largest globally too,” he tweeted.

I know you are eager to know the list of locations where the service will be available.

You can check out the locations on the government portal ‘Aaple Sarkar’.

The hotspot name will reflect in users WiFi list as Aaple_Sarkar_Mum-Wifi’. Once the login process is completed, the users will receive an OTP and will be connected to the internet once they enter it

A twitter handle under the name @AS_Mum_WiFi has also been started asking people to give feedback and report issues they face when they use the service
