Reliance Jio has disrupted the telecom industry with its JIO welcome offer and it has no plans of stopping anytime. While most other operators must have been secretly wishing to get their user base back after the welcome offer comes to an end, Mukesh Ambani made an announcement today which practically makes JIO's service free till march 2018.
“Our 100 million initial customers are Jio’s foundation. Today is the day for me to show my gratitude to you, the initial 100 million customers and ensure you always continue to get extreme value with Jio,” said Ambani.
Addressing the users, Mukesh expressed his gratitude to all customers of JIO and rewarded them by introducing reliance Jio prime plan. Under the prime plan, all users can avail JIO's services by paying a one-time nominal fee of Rs 99. Prime plan users will be given access to services for the entire year will match 2018 at the rate of Rs 303 per month. Along with that, prime plan will also give free access to the Jio media bouquet services
Keeping to their promises, Mukesh reassured that all domestic plan will be free and users will only be charged for data services.
