In its latest update, WhatsApp has made it easier for users to apply text font styles and search for emojis. The features were first spotted by Android Police and reports suggest that new features are available in WhatsApp version 2.17.148. However, the update has not been rolled out in iOS as yet
Considering that WhatsApp had text font styles prior to the update too, you might be wondering what's new? Well, they've made applying those font-styles easier. Now, all you need to do is long press the text which you wish to convert to bold or italics or underscore. You will also find Strikethrough, Monospace and Share option when you long press.
With regards to emojis, they've added a search button to make the process of finding emojis hassle free for you. All you will have to do is type emoji you wish to use. If you want to use the love emoji, type love and you’ll find relevant results
