I purchased one refrigerator(Godrej Edge,single door,Model No.GDE 19B1/2013.Cap.183Lit.) on 04/05/2013,from Siliguri,W.Bengal and it was delivered to me at my quarter in Sikkim Manipal University Campus in Gangtok.It developed some problem and stopped working from 7/8/15.
Since then I made several complaints through email to Godrej "customer care" and also contacted to their call-center.I also wrote to the head of customer care.
Till now,nothing has happened.They have made several false promises but no technician has paid a visit yet.
The product is still under warranty,so I hesitate to call technician from outside.That will technically make them free of any responsibility for this product.
I strongly believe our Indian companies take their customer for granted and never care to fulfill their promises afterwards.
This is a warning for future buyers. All these big talks about "customer care" are nothing but big hoax.
