Hi guys,
This is actually my third year college trip which our college had planned for only the third year students to Rajasthan. It was ten day trip.
We reached Jaipur(Rajasthan) early morning traveling through train GaribRath which was fully air conditioned. The journey was quite good, like its always good when you have your best buddy's around.
We had great time during the journey enjoyed a lot playing UNO.
One morning we reached Jaipur where we were supposed to stay, where actually we had our hotel booked. The hotel where we guys were staying was actually owned by your college trusty the "GHP group" which even was the hotel's name.
The hotel was very good, quite big rooms with good interior and decor. The room was shared by four person and me with my three best buddies were in a single room.
On our way to the hotel from Jaipur station we actually realized why Jaipur is called the pink city, because all the house around were painted in pink colour like almost everything was pink coloured the fence, walls, shops, buildings, even police stations were pink after then I actually figured it out as a pink city.
Then our site visiting plan we saw many beautiful places like in the order written:
Albert Hall - Albert Hall was the place which was situated like in the center of the city, which was indeed the museum containing old Jaipur sculptures and portrays.
City Palace: This is actually the King Sawai Maan Singh's house containing the old architecture and carvings and all.
Jantar Mantar: This was the place I loved alot, like this place had all scientific methods that the people used during that days to find out the date time, month, Zodiac sing and alot.
And while traveling in bus we came across the HAWA MAHAL, JAL MAHAL
Amber Fort: This was another fort which had great carving and all, the giuide who was roaming around with us told a lot of history about the fort which I dont remember rite now.
Then from Jaipur we went to Agra to visit the the great great great TAJ MAHAL
Yeah its was really kool...and as we see in pictures.
We went into the Taj Mahal saw the interiors which was really great and awesome, like when you enter the TajMahal you start getting the Mughal feeling.
Was feeling really proud that my country Indian holds such great and old Monuments.
Guys thinking for an NorthIndia trip should obviously include Jaipur in it.
