I am a music lover and I am fond of several Music Composers who were legends in their own rights. I am refraining from comparing them as they were unique and sadly this breed is nearly extinct. SD Burman, RDB, OP Nayyer, Vanraj Bhatia(very under-rated), Salil Choudhary, C Ramchandra to name a few.
I am loving the enthusiasm our friends are showing towards the festivals that I am conducting on MS. There were already many posts on Madanji today and I have a suggestion to make. I am humbly requesting you to space your posting so that too many posts don’t get posted on the same day. What I suggest is let us post a few DPs/Revus everyday so we get to read them every day for the whole week.
This time I would like to encourage you to write more about his songs citing the reason you like them. Feel free to include any song that you don’t like and don’t forget to tell us why you dislike it. As much as possible please write posts/Revus about his songs rather than about his life. It is not that I don’t appreciate biographical posts but then my intention is to make my friends aware of the melodious compositions that are remembered even today.
When I joined MS I was literally the only one to promote the evergreen songs. I started alone but now I have so many friends along with me that I am going to call it Musical Revolution. I would like to promote any good music irrespective of its origin or genre.
