In olden days,generally girls did hide their love while boys took the initiative of proposing the girl.Technology was not progressed that time,and the only service available was POSTAL SERVICE. and the love was revealed through sending love letters.If a boy had to propose a girl,at first he have to get her home address,then write a letter revealing his love.After that,he have to send it to the girl and make sure that the letter will reach in the hands of the girl only.Just imagine if the girl's father reads the letter instead of her????!!
