As its name indicates,gum painting is a kind of painting done with the help of gum.Its quite interesting and easy to do painting.
I will teach you how to do this painting.
Materials required:
Chart paper(medium length)
Camel liquid glue
Water color paste tubes
Painting brush
Mixing tray
Sponge
Method:
First of all select a good picture of your choice.You can either draw it on your chart paper or take the trace of a picture using tracing paper.
After tracing or drawing the picture on your chart paper,think and plan about the color combinations to be used to paint inorder to make the painting effective.
In a tray,mix liquid glue and required water color paste in 2:1 ratio using a brush.mix it well.
Apply the paint-glue mix on the picture using a brush.
Immediately with the back end of the brush,draw lines on the painted surface.This will make white lines in the picture.
Repeat this method to complete the picture using various colors.
Add background like clouds,grass etc using sponge dipped in paint and softly touching with it on the chart.
Once the painting is done,give outlining to the picture using black water color.
Allow it to dry completely.
Frame it and hang it on the wall.
